I fell in love with this design as soon as I saw it. It was pinned on the wall of my LNS, along with The Kiss and I had to buy them both as soon as I saw them. It was a tough call deciding which to stitch first (in the end The Kiss won - but only by a very narrow margin). At the time I was stitching Winter Queen I was also writing what turned into an epic piece of Doctor Who fanfiction called Relativity and she soon turned into one of the characters. This design is the basis for the portrait of Yelena that Kirrilyn sees in the room she is assigned in A'kana.
