A lovely design from Nora Corbett of Mirabilia, part of the appeal of this one is the fact it has a male figure in it. Most cross stitch designs don't - I understand because men tend to come out looking very "square". I'm not normally a pink person, but this one won me over without a fuss. One of the amazing things about Nora's designs is that you look at the colours in the chart and think "You have got to be kidding!" but when you stitch them they work beautifully. The Kiss is, for me, a prime example of this. I love the way all the metallic braid, especially in her dress, sparkles as you walk past.
