Mirabilia's Nora Corbett is easily one of my favourite designers. I have a "to stitch" list for her designs that is way too long. I fell for this Cinderella as soon as I saw her, although I felt the soft grey background wasn't strong enough. I saw her stitched on black and liked the contrast, but I almost always find black too stark. When I saw this mottled navy and purple fabric I knew I'd found the solution. The tiny bit I've done on it looks lovely, but I can't wait until I start seeing some of Cinders herself. I'm still deciding if I'm going to stitch the outer frame or not. I'm working on this one week a month as part of a stitchalong with a New Zealand stitching list.
